Day 1 – Auckland

After 20+ hours in airplanes and airport lounges we made it to Auckland. YAY! For our first day we spent the day walking around the city. We found a park that was not far from the hotel, Auckland Domain. We enjoyed walking around the botanical gardens and the trails throughout the park, especially after the travel days. The day concluded admiring the sunset while sailing around the city. Easy day today, easing off the jet lag. Tomorrow picks up with a day touring wineries on a nearby island.
